Had a mini tummy tuckand thought I would be happy with the results but I'm not. How would I go about getting rid of the loose skin above my belly button, it's worse when I sit down.
Answer: Mini tummy tuck results At this point it will be difficult to convert you to a full tummy tuck as you already have some skin removed. This means that a full tummy tuck will likely leave you with a vertical scar as well. Apart from this, the options to tighten the skin above the belly button are limited to noninvasive modalities which are often less than stellar results.Best of luck! Answer: Abdomen You could try radiofrequency skin tightening like Renuvion or the full tuck. I would try the first one since is minimal downtime and does work well for many people.

Answer: Mini tummy tuck This is a common concern for those who had mini tucks when a full tuck was a better option. To get the look closer to what you are wanting and to address the loose skin you can have your mini tuck converted to a full tuck. See a board certified plastic surgeon near you to learn more.

Answer: Return to surgeon A mini tummy tuck only targets the area below your belly button. It sounds like you should have had a full tummy tuck instead, since you have loose skin above your belly button. I suggest you return to your surgeon to talk about your concerns.

Answer: Not satisfied with mini tummy tuck results Thank you for your photos and question. Without performing a physical examination, and without knowing how long ago you had your surgery, it's difficult to determine if you have some fat above your scar that can be improved with liposuction or if you have post operative swelling. Keep in mind, that everyone has rolls when they sit down. There is no safe way to completely remove them for the sitting position. My recommendation is to address your concerns with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. Depending on how long ago your mini tummy tuck was done, you may have options for improvement. Or you may need to wait longer for any post operative swelling to resolve. Good luck!
