Had a mini tummy tuckand thought I would be happy with the results but I'm not. How would I go about getting rid of the loose skin above my belly button, it's worse when I sit down.
Answer: Mini tuck results The answer would depend on the degree of laxity above the umbilicus. You would need either a modified or full TT, subject to physical exam. I do not believe that non invasive modalities would produce adequate improvement. With a modified TT, you would not need the T incision. Given the excess skin above the umbilicus, a mini tuck was not the operation of choice. Best wishes.

Answer: Mini tummy tuck results At this point it will be difficult to convert you to a full tummy tuck as you already have some skin removed. This means that a full tummy tuck will likely leave you with a vertical scar as well. Apart from this, the options to tighten the skin above the belly button are limited to noninvasive modalities which are often less than stellar results.Best of luck!
