Make sure you go to an experienced injector as this is the area where the facial artery and vein come up to supply and drain the lip region, respectively.Make sure it's an HA-based filler for reversibility needs.
Thank you for your question and photos. A conservative amount of filler can be administered to the indentions you’re referring to, creating a smooth result. By restoring volume to the shallow contours, dermal fillers can provide a subtle lift to reduce the dimpled appearance. However, if these indentations are only visible when smiling, Botox may be a more favorable option to reduce the muscle activity causing them to appear. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced expert injector. They will be able to discuss your concern with you and help you decide on the best treatment.
I would suggest a combination of Morpheus 8 and dermal filler to help reduce the linear pattern along the lower cheek and marionette areas. These should remain conservative. Dr. KaramanoukianRealself100 Surgeon
For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.
The kind of dimpling and folds seen in the photographs appear to simply be variations on what have been called parallel laugh lines, which characteristically ring the lower cheeks to the sides of the mouth and become more pronounced with smiling. I have consistently found that the appropriate choice of a soft, low viscosity, cohesive and malleable HA filler fanned properly beneath the folds and indentations works quite well for nonsurgically and quickly ameliorating this problem. Make sure to consult with an board certified cosmetic dermatology filler expert, and ask to see his/her personal before and after photos. Best of luck.
It's usually not a good idea to have indentations or dimples filled when they are only present upon smiling. This could lead to unusual fullness when you're not smiling. I hope this helps! Doctor Joseph
Most people want them. You can try subcising them with a SurgiWire or similar method while adding a filler of some sort. If you happen to be getting a facelift, the surgeon can undermine the skin to that area as well to help it.I hope this helps,Best of luck !Randal Haworth
Very much possible! Depending on how the filler needs to be distributed which is of course dictated by your anatomy, a good 2-3 ml should be able to give you this chin projection. If the chin is not receded as in your case I presume, a single depot injection should be sufficient or more product...
Thank you for your question and photos. Dermal fillers are an excellent option for rejuvenating your appearance. These hyaluronic acid formulas can improve your chin and jawline definition while enhancing your facial symmetry. Fillers can also reduce the appearance of dark circles by filling in...
The risk is the same if the filler is injected deep enough and in dangerous anatomical areas. All Fillers are safe in the hands of experience Dermatologist or plastic surgeon who has the proper training.
