I had a Breast Augmentation about 6 months ago, and I feel very unhappy about the results. I am 5’2 and about 60kgs. I was given 260cc implants on both breasts and I feel it looks too small. My goals were to be a D cup and I don’t feel it’s achieved. I also feel the top of my breast has no volume. I did have tubular breasts is that the reason I couldn’t go bigger? Any help will be appreciated!!
Answer: Breast Augmentation Recovery I appreciate your concerns, however your photos indicate an extremely reasonable and attractive result, especially considering the fact that you had tubular breasts. It is true that larger implants could not initially be used because of this condition. While you may have not achieved a D cup, your breasts do appear full and most attractive. If size continues to be an issue, implants can certainly be exchanged down the road, but I strongly advise that you wait at least another 6 to 12 months to allow your body to accommodate to the implants and allow all scarring to resolve. Try to stay patient and positive and best of luck!

Answer: Very worried about my breast size. Please Help (Photo) Thank you for sharing your question and I am sorry that your results have not been what you anticipated. Your surgeon may have felt that your breast envelope was too tight to achieve a larger implant size at the time of surgery and once greater elasticity is reached you may be able to exchange to a larger size. Best to ask them of their implant decision for the best information.

Answer: Size Selection Good evening, Your breast implants aren't bad for your size, but there is room to go bigger- it takes 100cc to see a difference and 200cc to make a cup size, so I would recommend you consider around 450-500cc for better upper pole fullness and cleavage!

Answer: Implant size and type Dear Generous2024, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.
