My BWD is 12.5, I am 49 kg and 1.57m so rather petite but BWD seems fairly wide for my size. Breastfed two children so there is some sag on current A / small B breasts. I exercise several times week. Would a Demi 300cc (11.5 width) be natural and proportionate? I would like to restore some fullness lost from breastfeeding and weight loss. most importantly feel like the implants are part of my body. I'm not sure about going down in size as that would be more than 1cm variance in width!
Answer: Mini Lift with small implants If you have some sag, small breasts and have breastfed then I recommend a simultaneous mini lift. Using a circumareola incision, your breast tissue is reshaped, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. At the same time, small implants can be placed totally submuscular. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Breast implant profile Thanks for your question. The width of your chosen implant must fit your body’s dimensions. If it is too narrow it will produce a wide cleavage which looks unnatural. If they are too wide they can encroach into your armpits. There is about a 2cm range we can consider depending on your preference. With regard to choosing the profile it just depends on the look you want. Mini gives a very natural look, Demi has an augmented look especially on a small frame. Full will give a fake look.Hope this helps.

Answer: Motiva Ergonomix BWD and width selection Base width is one factor we take into account when choosing implants. However, it is not an absolute but basically gives us an idea of relative dimension. A patient with a smaller base dimension but with looser skin could probably utilize a larger implant than somebody with tighter skin. In general, a 300 mL implant would be sufficient to fill a breast with a 12.5 cm base although one of the more full profiles may be selected.

Answer: Implant size and type Dear Gregarious665587, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.
