Whenever I take photo I see my right side cheek and lower lip is tilt towards right side. Please advice how can I get this fixed.
Answer: Midface asymmetry Thank you for the picture. The asymmetry you see in your face is secondary to midface hypoplasia. This is very common - in fact, EVERYONE has some degree of midface hypoplasia. This is when the part of the facial skeleton is slightly different one side from the other, often times not as developed as the other side. The reason this occurs is because as our face develops in utero, both sides develop independently and subsequently fuse - so each side is not so much like an identical twin, but rather like very closely related siblings. As far as how to fix it, the best way to do so would be to start with something that is not permanent like a hyaluronic acid filler. Whenever I look to address asymmetry, I try and see where the light is hitting the face - both at rest, in motion, and from all angles. Using something like voluma or restylane lyft you can help address this. There are other, more permanent options available to you but I would recommend you start with something temporary to see how things react with the tissue and what looks good on you. Best of luck.

Answer: Facial Slimming — Masseter Botox, Facetite/Renuvion J Plasma, Buccal Fat Pad Removal, Fillers to sculpt the Cheek/Jawline/Chin This is my expertise and a huge portion of my practice. Asymmetry is normal and expected. Buccal fat pad gives slimming not symmetry. Masseter botox will make you slimmer and make the jawline more loose. Fillers help give shaping and contouring. If you want perfect or close to perfect symmetry you need maxillofacial surgery or implants customized. I suggest seeing an expert to go through all options. Most of my younger clients use fillers to give them shaping especially on the cheeks, jawline, and chin which make the face look more slim and tight; and threads such as PDO or Instalift can build collagen and support the facial shaping and skin looseness over time, slowing down the aging process and given the face a more “snatched” look; and morpheus8 or PiXel8 deep microneedling RF can tighten crepe skin especially on the neck and jawline and is great for long term tightening of the full face, neck and chest; its often used to give the face a slimmer more sculpted look because it tightens the skin and gives lift. an early face lift can be performed as well even in younger clients if they want a different facial shape, maxillofacial surgery with bone breaking or shaving can also be done. For facial slimming a combination of treatments are always needed. Options include: 1. Buccal fat pad removal to reduce fat on the lower face 2. Factite or Renuvion/J Plasma to tighten the lower face, jawline, and chin to reduce fat and give the jawline and neck tightening and shaping. 3. Botox to the masseter to reduce the muscular size of the jaw giving the face an illusion of being more slender 4. Fillers to the jawline, chin, cheeks, temples and brow help to shape the face and make it more angled and defined Always use at home derma rolling (see link to Emerageskin x anteageMD roller plus stem cells/hyaluronic acid ampules) and peels like emeragecosmetics enlighten or aerify that can be used to improve skin quality and tighten the skin while improving wrinkles, pigmentation, acne, and Melasma. See an expert who does facial shaping with surgical and non surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Asymmetrical Cheeks Thank you for sharing your question and posting your photo. You should be able to achieve symmetry rather easily and quickly with the injection of dermal fillers. Several products are available on the market which could help. You should be evaluated by a specialist who uses different types of materials so treatment can be tailored to your specific needs. Good luck,

Answer: Cheek implant or fillers Just about everyone has asymmetric facial features. The asymmetry in your cheek region is likely due to unequal fat deposits in the cheeks, or differences in the shape of the bone in the cheek. These concerns can be easily addressed with either permanent cheek implants, fat grafting, or injectable fillers which may provide correction for 1 to 2 years. Visiting with a facial plastic surgeon for a full evaluation can help you to determine which approach might be best for you. Best regards.

Answer: The right side of my face tilts; how can it be fixed? Hi, I have performed many facial shaping procedures over the past 30 years. From the photo your cheeks are very flat as is the chin and mandibular angles. This results in an elongated, rectangular face that enhances the typical amount of facial asymmetry.Based upon the beauty principles outlined in my book on face and body beauty, men look chiseled and handsome with angularity in the cheeks, chin and mandibular angles. This combines to create an elongated oval shaped face. The following procedures would create a more ruggedly handsome face.Cheek augmentation with cheek implants to add angularity to the cheeks and mid face. Chin augmentation, using a chin implant, to add projection to the chin creating harmony and balance to the lower face.Augmentation of the mandibular angles using a dermal filler (jaw implants have too many unwanted side effects IMHO) to add volume, angularity and flare to the jaw line.Hope this helps.
