Facial sculpting and contouring can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Countour, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra, which would give improvement in facial balance. Fat or implants are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
It appears that you have small cheek bones; that is the main reason that you face looks narrow and triangular. Simple augmentation with cheek implants would significantly change your appearance. In your age, addressing the problem of under-developed cheek bones with augmentation using cheek implant is by far the best and safest solution. You should seek a consult with a board certified plastic surgeon with experience in facial implants for detailed clinical evaluation and discuss your options. Good luck.
Hi, I have performed many facial shaping and contouring procedures over the past 30 years. From the photos, your cheeks are very flat as is the chin and lateral aspects of the jaw line. Following the beauty principles outlined in my book on face and body beauty, women look the most feminine, youthful and attractive with heart shaped faces. Heart shaped faces have cheeks that are full and round in the front. Cheek augmentation with a dermal filler or using cheek implants for a permanent enhancement will create full, round cheeks that will feminize the entire face. A weak chin creates an imbalance making the nose appear larger, the mid face top heavy and the lower face look short that de-emphasizes the lips and allows early formation of a double chin. Chin augmentation using a chin implant will add projection to the chin creating harmony and balance to the lower face. I have found that placement of a silastic chin implant, through a small curved incision under the chin (also allows excess skin removal) to be very safe, quick and highly effective. The lateral aspects of the jaw line can be augmented, yet still remain feminine, using a dermal filler which doesn't have the unwanted side effects of jaw implants.Hope this helps.
Thanks for your question and photographs. Your asymmetry is quite mild but if it bothers you then the only non surgical way to address it is with dermal filler injections. Arrange a consultation with a fully qualified plastic surgeon to discuss your options.

Your question is quite interesting. In the past ten years there has been a virtual revolution in the way advanced injectors use volumizing fillers to nonsurgically augment the cheeks, a technique that not only restores sunken, saggy cheeks, but often secondarily improves smile lines and to a...
