Face texture - Small "indents" on cheeks? (photo)

Question

I am 30 years old and i noticed these small indents all over my cheek area over the last 2 years. I'm getting really tired and self conscious about them...what are they and what can I do about them? Thanks!

This most likely represents atrophoderma vermiculatum - a form of keratosis pilaris atrophicans. It usually presents in childhood. But, there is a reported case of late onset in late adolescence. Treatments can be difficult. If you are still getting new spots, oral isotretinoin (Accutane) has been reported to help (see article below). Pulsed dye lasers have been used to treat the redness. Once the new spots have stopped forming is when you could consider more aggressive treatment of the scars with lasers and/or microneedling. I would recommend seeing a board certified dermatologist to help determine the best treatments for you.

Hi, these are enlarged pores within the skin.  A moderate depth chemical peel of the face should be able to sort that out.Hope this helps.
