Sliding genioplasty, jaw surgery or chin implant to fix my profile? What will happen with my lip incompetence? (Photo)

In the one photo, it appears that you are deficient vertically and horizontally. You have a deep mentolabial fold which tells me that you need vertical lengthening. A sliding genioplasty can provide both lengthening and advancement with one operation. Vertical lengthening of the chin cannot be adequately accomplished with a chin implant. It tends to deepen an already deep fold. The procedure should improve the balance of your lower face.

Unfortunately, a single photo like this is not enough to give you any meaningful advise. It would be in your best interest to seek a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon with experience in facial implants and jaw surgery. Hope this helps.

I suggest having a few in person, consultations with oral surgeons and plastic surgeons in your community. Both specialties contribute to surgery on this part of the face.
During each consultation, you can that only get an assessment, a better understanding of treatment options, including how this may affect secondary issues as well.
