I would start makeup once the skin has healed over. Usually about 5 to 6 days after fractional laser.Best, Dr. KaramanoukianRealself100 Surgeon
This will depend on a few variables, primarily the intensity of your treatment. I recommend following up with your practitioner for their protocol regarding make-up after Co2. Usually, it is recommended to wait a week. I also recommend adding microneedling and prp to get the best outcomes with lasers. Best, Dr. Emer
The short answer is it depends. Patients are typically still in the process of generating new skin and are quite red and sometimes have areas of continued oozing, swelling or scaling even after 10 days. Usually 10 to 14 days should be sufficient for travel and make-up application but it really depends on how aggressive your treatment was and if your skin has completely resurfaced. I advise further discussion with your plastic surgeon regarding this.
Thanks for your question, but it really depends on the depth / strength of treatment. Ultimately, you need to ask the office that is performing it for post-care instruction. Every physician will have their own recommended protocol. Most of our patients will have to go at least a week without makeup. Best of luck.
