After CO2 laser resurfacing, it's recommended to sleep on your back with your head elevated for at least one week to reduce swelling and avoid pressure on the treated areas. You can use two to three pillows to elevate your head 30-40 degrees or try sleeping in a recliner tilted at 45 degrees. Placing a pillow under each elbow can help maintain your position. To prevent rolling onto your face, consider placing pillows on either side of you, especially if you don't naturally sleep on your back.
I would suggest sleeping on your side once the skin has healed over; probably 10 days. Best, Dr. KaramanoukianRealself100 Surgeon
