Hi, I have had co2 laser on my face about 8 months ago. The procedure was not done by a certified doctor or nurse and the settings were obviously too high and have not healed at all. I have red/brown big squares still on my face now 8-9 months post procedure. It healed a little in the first 2 months and now has been slow and no progress. I am very concerned. I always put spf 50 to protect from sun. Please help me with what topical treatments I could use. I have tried hydroquinone, tretinoin and azaleic acid but feel like it irritates my skin more...I would need some help please
My skin has been bothering me for some time, I am 30 and I have these blemishes which are there all the time, I currently take Tretinoin which helped slightly but nothing seems to get rid of the red blemishes. Does it look like Rosacea to you? What procedure would be best to get rid of the red blemishes, so I have completely clear skin. Thank you
When I I was pregnant I got some skin tags but I also got a large amount of these small bumps on my chest and neck that are skin colored and more flat. My neck feels like braille and although its not too noticeable indoors, its noticeable in natural light. I have sensitive skin so Id like to make my skin smoother but I also dont want to get a procedure done that will leave any scarring or pigment issues and make it worse.
I had the CO2 laser done about 3 1/2 months ago and my skin wasnt really that bad. I kind of did it for like hyper pigmentation and just a little bit of some scarring that I had just in my t zone but overall my skin was pretty good. And I noticed that now all over my face I have these tiny red mark patterns and its not hyper pigmentation its like when I put makeup on. Its like actual like holes in my skin that wont go away and Ive seen and Ive researched that you know it takes a couple months to heal, but Im about to be on my fourth month and they still look the same and I still have those holes in my skin that I did not have before so I dont know if theres something I can do to fix that or if thats just permanent damage, because its not my pores
Obviously, I do not have an extreme laxity in my face yet (early 30s) but I do see room for improvement and am hoping there is some type of minimally invasive option besides a facelift. I am working on collagen production (RLT, retinol, good skincare etc) but I am really unhappy with my face currently. I am open to anything at this point.
Im a 27 year old female with a long history of acne. Gained about 90% control over it but dealing with scars and VERY large pores. And they are looking much worse as Im creeping up to my 30s. Expression lines look worse too because of the texture, it makes me look much older. I want to have co2 done but open to suggestions of how to address pls + ty! :)
My complaint is lip lines. I have controlled rosacea with a neurogenic component; in the past I experienced moderately severe burning to cheeks and forehead. Thankfully, I am not permanently red, but tend to flush and blush. My question is, would this preclude me from laser treatment? Would I be better with a skin peel? Can I have just the peri-oral area treated so as not to involve my cheeks and forehead?
Basically I am 34 years old As a teenager I was a sun worshipper but have been fairly sensible from early twenties onwards. I now live in Doha and I thought I had been vigilant with my suncream, I feel like my skin is trashed. Pigmentation, dry , lines etc. I want to get co2re laser because I want to undo this damage. I want ablative as I really want to improve my skin in terms of tone\teXture/laxity. However, I have a thin face. Is it true that ablative laser causes volume loss?
I'm looking at fractural CO2 for dark circles. I have a natural crease/line that makes my under eye seem hollow. A doctor that recommended CO2 for discolouration (3 rounds) then either filler, bio filler or fat transfer for the under eye shape.
