Lollipop or anchor breast lift? (Photo)

Thank you for your question and photos,  The Bellesoma Method is a current technique to lift breasts without using implants or the ugly vertical scars.  The incisions are hidden around the areola and in the inframammary crease. The vertical incision has been completely eliminated. The areola incision heals almost invisibly due to the fact that there is hardly any tension on the closure. With this particular technique, ducts are preserved along with nerve supply maintaining nipple sensation and the ability to breast feed. Because the breast is reshaped internally and is secured to your chest muscles, upper pole fullness is possible without an implant. Attached is a patient who underwent The Bellesoma Method. Please note that her tissue was used to create upper pole fullness and cleavage without any foreign materials (mesh, implants, etc).  It is a proprietary technique that only surgeons that have been trained by me can perform. great candidate for a breast lift with a wise pattern or vertical pattern (lollipop).  This can be designed to result in an
improved shape and contour of your breasts while minimizing scar
appearance.  Make sure you specifically look at before and after
pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon
and evaluate their results.  The most important aspect is to find a
surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a
qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

Given the skin laxity of your breasts, the location of your nipples in reference to your infa-mammory fold, and the shape of your areolas; you could have just a lift with anchor scars due to the severity of the drooping.  I recommend you have a lollipop lift in combination with a breast augmentation to avoid the horizontal scar underneath the breast.  The lollipop scar is more aesthetically pleasing, and when combined with implants the projection of the breast will appear more youthful and full.  

Thank you for the questions and photo's.  You look like a candidate, most likely, for the wise pattern(anchor).  Depending on what size implant you want, and how much tissue needs to be removed, will decide which scar pattern.  Make sure your surgeon is Board Certified in Plastic Surgery and is experienced in this procedure.

First I want to congratulate you for making this important decision. Deciding to get an aesthetic procedure to change your body and get a new life style is a big step!

Looking at your photos I might say that you´ll be a great candidate to get a breast lift with implants, this is because your chest looks a bit saggy and the implants will definitely help you fill the superior pole of your breast giving you an excellent and beautiful shape.

Before all this, of course, you need to get to a complete medical evaluation and laboratory exams to check everything is fine. For us your safety, always, is going to be first.

The vertical incision or lollipop scar is a very common method to perform breast lifts.  Based on your photos, you would be an excellent candidate for this method.
There are many different methods of breast lifts, including the anchor scar. The choice depends on your desires, the amount of breast tissue to be removed, your current breast size/shape and the experience and training of your plastic surgeon.Either procedure can be performed as an outpatient with a quick recovery, 3-5 days, and minimal pain and discomfort.  There are no drains and the stitches are dissolvable. Good Luck!

The amount of skin to be removed will determine which is best for you. When I do a lift, I always try to avoid the horizontal scar if possible. If you have just a lift, I think that you would probably require a horizontal extension on the bottom. If you choose to have a lift plus an augmentation, it could be possible to avoid the horizontal scar.  If you are planning implants with your lift, I would discuss the size of implant with your surgeon. In my opinion, however, the horizontal scars usually heal very well.
