I'm a 43 year old mother four. I breastfed all four and had 4 C-sections. My question is would I be able to just have a breast lift with no implants? I am a size 36d and I've lost about 90 pounds

Thank you for your question and photos,  The Bellesoma Method is a current technique to lift breasts without using implants or the ugly vertical scars.  The incisions are hidden around the areola and in the inframammary crease. The vertical incision has been completely eliminated. The areola incision heals almost invisibly due to the fact that there is hardly any tension on the closure. With this particular technique, ducts are preserved along with nerve supply maintaining nipple sensation and the ability to breast feed. Because the breast is reshaped internally and is secured to your chest muscles, upper pole fullness is possible without an implant. Attached is a patient who underwent The Bellesoma Method. Please note that her tissue was used to create upper pole fullness and cleavage without any foreign materials (mesh, implants, etc).  It is a proprietary technique that only surgeons that have been trained by me can perform. If you're looking for perkiness, you may need  a lift—but  if you also want more volume, an implant may be sufficient to increase your breast size and give your breasts a perkier appearance. A breast lift raises droopy breasts from one to several inches and excess skin is removed. If you just want to go bigger, the only way to do that is with implants or even fat grafting which is the newest technique for you to enlarge your breasts without resorting to implants! Specially prepared fat taken from another part of the body, such as the stomach or hips, is placed under the breast tissue to provide increased breast size without the need for artificial implants. The technique is called autologous fat transfers and autologous simply means "your own." These are some of the factors I weigh with my patients when evaluating what type of procedure to do.

Thank you for the question and photo's.  I highly recommend an implant with the lift.  It doesn't have to be a large implant, but you want some upper pole fullness which won't be achieved with just a lift.

Looking at your photos I might say that you´ll be a great candidate to get a breast lift without implants because you have enough tissue to reshape and lift it. Before all this, of course, you need to get a complete medical evaluation and laboratory exams to check everything is fine. For us your safety, always, is going to be first.

The uplift alone will help lift the nipple and breast. This will not increase the volume of the breast. If you want more volume then you may need an implant. If you do not want more volume then an uplift alone would be suitable.

Breast implants are only used to increase size of your breast. If you are happy with your size you do not need breast implants.

Hello and thank you for your excellent question. Based on your photos, I think you are a great candidate for a breast lift. You will obviously need an in person consultation to evaluate you for this procedure. Preoperative visualization and surgical simulation with the Crisalix system may help with your decision. Any treatment plan should be based on a detailed discussion with equal input from both you and your surgeon. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation in person with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon. Good luck!
