Answer: Juvederm and liver disease Juvederm is an extremely safe product and should not affect your liver in any way. If your liver disease is active enough that it does not function normally, you may experience more bruising than usual after juvederm injection.

Answer: I've had Hepatitis C for 10 years. Can I use Juvederm? Assuming that you are otherwise healthy, Hepatitis C infection should not create any issues following Juvederm treatment. With regard to treatment of the forehead and neck area, if you are concerned about lines in the forehead or banding in the neck you would likely be treated with Botox, Dysport or Xeomin as opposed to a dermal filler such as Juvederm. I hope this information is helpful for you.Stephen Weber MD, FACSDenver Facial Plastic Surgeon

Answer: Juvederm and hepatitis Your hepatitis should have no effect on the filler injections. The hyaluronic fillers are safe and this is a substance that your body produces on its own as well. For the forehead wrinkles you would do better with one of the neurotoxins such as Botox or Dysport. Laser would be best for the neck.
