What should I do now after experiencing eleven months of numbness in my left cheek, lip, and nostril after a Juvederm injection?

An injection of Juvederm caused extreme bruising and numbness in my left infraorbital nerve. The numbness persists after 11 months. They physician sent me for ultrasound therapy. Only the sensation of temperature has returned to the left cheek. Fullness is still evident in the left cheek. Will this heal? What are my options at this point? What steps should I take?

I'm sorry to hear of the issues you have been experiencing.  Have you attempted dissolving the remaining product?  It is difficult to give further recommendations without knowing more information.

I am sorry to hear about your problems.  It may be that the product is pushing against the infraorbital nerve.  If there are no other physical reasons for impaired function of this nerve then I would consider injecting hyaluronidase to dissolve the juvederm.  Best of luck.
