Chemical Peel After Facial?

Question

I'm going to get a facial on Monday and I recently bought Skin Obessions 40% Gyolic Acid Peel and I was wanting to do it on Friday or Thursday of the same week. Would that be okay or should I wait a little longer?

Yes it is safe to do a peel after facial infact it is better as it penetrates deeper and the effect is better but it is advisable to do a peel only from a dermatologist and not try it at home because no matter how safe and easy it looks there are chances of complications.All The Best

There are many different types of chemical peels (phenol, glycolic, glycolic + salicylic, etc). A chemical peel is a great treatment to help get rid of acne; improve skin texture & tone, reduce the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles; and get an amazing glow.

The answer depends! 
If you are getting an aggressive peel (such as the VI peel), i would recommend a facial 2 weeks after the treatment.  An aggressive peel will cause mild flaking to peeling of your top layer of skin.  A facial or hydrafacial two weeks after treatment will really help with the treatment results and clear up your skin.
You can also get a chemical peel after/during a facial.  I would only do this if you are getting a mild or superficial chemical peel, such as the Skinmedica Illuminize Peel or similar.  This type of peel is more for the evening glow, and there is little downtime (aka peeling).  
So basic answer:

If getting an aggressive chemical peel, facial after.

If getting a mild/superficial peel, facial can be done before or during the treatment.

I think the best thing to do is have the chemical peel after you facial. Meaning same time. In mu office we use a system called Hydrafacial and with it has the ability to deep clean, exfoliate , hydrate and apply a chemical. My patients love it and it is great for the skin.
