During the off season I have hip dips. I want them filled in. I attached photos of myself. How long do I have to maintain one weight before the fat is set there? Will a petite bbl help with my hip dips now? I know I’m fairly lean, but I can easily pinch a good amount of fat on my flanks, low back, and inner thighs. I don’t want a big bbl. Just enough to round out my hips. I know the surgeon will talk about where we can take fat from at my consult. The last 2 are edited for my ideal results.
Answer: Brazilian butt lift for bodybuilders? Thanks so much for your inquire, Bodybuilders often focus on building muscle mass and achieving a well-defined physique, but they may still have specific aesthetic goals, including enhancing the appearance of their buttocks. A BBL can be tailored to meet the unique needs and preferences of bodybuilders, taking into account their existing muscle mass and desired outcomes. Performing BBL procedures on bodybuilders will take into account the individual's muscular anatomy and aesthetic goals. The procedure may involve targeted fat grafting techniques to complement the existing muscle definition and create a harmonious overall appearance. In a BBL, fat is harvested from other areas of the body through liposuction and then injected into the buttocks to enhance volume and shape. You may have specific areas where prefer fat removal to further accentuate muscle definition while simultaneously enhancing the appearance of the buttocks. You should be aware that the recovery process following a BBL may temporarily impact your ability to engage in intense physical activities such as weightlifting By working with a skilled plastic surgeon and having realistic expectations, as a bodybuilder you can achieve your desired aesthetic outcomes while maintaining an active lifestyle. Sincerely, Dr. Emmanuel Mallol

Answer: BBL for Bodybuilders For bodybuilders looking to address hip dips, a Brazilian butt lift (BBL) can be a suitable option, especially if you have enough fat on your flanks, low back, and inner thighs. A petite BBL can help round out your hips without creating an exaggerated look. Maintaining a stable weight for at least three months post-procedure is typically recommended to ensure the fat sets properly. Discuss your specific goals and the ideal fat donor areas with your surgeon during your consultation to achieve your desired results.

Answer: BBL for Bodybuilders Thank you for your question. Pinchable fat on the flanks, lower back, and inner thighs suggests potential donor sites for fat harvesting. During a consultation, your surgeon will assess these areas to determine if fat transfer is feasible and how much can be done safely. A petite BBL can help round out the hips without creating an overly large buttock size. Excess fat is removed from the donor areas and injected into the hips to enhance the shape and fill the hip dips. To maximize fat survival, it's generally recommended to maintain a consistent weight for three to six months before surgery, as size or weight fluctuations can impact the fat cells' survival after transfer. Consulting with a board-certified surgeon experienced in BBL procedures is important to evaluate your anatomy, discuss your goals, and recommend the best approach to achieve results that align with your preferences and appear natural.

Answer: Hip Dips Hello, my name is Dr Igor Burko and I am a Plastic Surgeon at SY Aesthetics in NYC. If you only want your hips dips filled in, then you only need fat transferred to that one area. However, if you also would like added buttock projection, you will need fat transferred to the buttock itself. I recommend maintaining your weight for at least 6 months to prevent loss of transferred fat. It is best to consult with a trained plastic surgeon to discuss your options as well as go over expectations.

Answer: BBL candidate Dear Thriving203034, based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a BBL. Liposuction of your abdomen, back and flanks should give you more curves and hourglass shape and fat transfer to buttocks should give you more projection. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.
