Studies are just being completed that will substantiate the best protocol. The longevity of PRP is betwren 4 months and one year. Differences exist with each individual. Answer: PRP Frequency Thank you for your question. I generally recommend 3-6 PRP treatments for hair loss, 4-6 weeks apart. If not responding by the third treatment, I would discontinue the injections. There is not a 100% response rate. In addition to the PRP, I strongly recommend low level laser therapy (LLLT) with an in-home device such as LaserCap, or LaserBand and either finasteride to suppress DHT production in males or Revivogen to suppress PRP activity in the scalp in men and women.
