There are many PRP protocols. I am fond of the monthly treatments for 3 to 4 months followed by quarterly treatments. Studies are just being completed that will substantiate the best protocol. Hi,thanks for the question.The time interval between 2 sessions of PRP is approximately 2-3 weeks.A person normally requires 4-5 sessions of PRP .You need to apply topical Minoxidil and take oral multivitamins along with biotin.A protein rich diet is important.

PRP can be a repeated treatment. The improvement of hair density varies from patient to patient, but typically improves withing 3-6 months after treatment.

Thank you for your question. I generally recommend 3-6 PRP treatments for hair loss, 4-6 weeks apart. If not responding by the third treatment, I would discontinue the injections. There is not a 100% response rate. In addition to the PRP, I strongly recommend low level laser therapy (LLLT) with an in-home device such as LaserCap, or LaserBand and either finasteride to suppress DHT production in males or Revivogen to suppress PRP activity in the scalp in men and women. I think give it 6 months before judging.  I do 2 treatments one month apart.  I recommend Minoxidil (rogaine) afterwards.  Some use Propecia.  Good luck.
