Hair fall after treatment with PRP and minokem f 5%?

Question

I have restored my hair to great extent. I got prp done five times and applied minokem-f 5% for six months. Minokem still continues as per docotor prescription. Now i feel still hair fall is there during head bath ans combing. Approximately 70 hair fall per two days. All hair falling are thick. Shall i do anything else to prevent fall. My doc says its okay. Note: my scalf is oily. Hair become oily within one day. I have attached my before and after photo. Pl suggest.

This needs an in-person evaluation. In our office we add progesterone with prp treatments to get better outcomes. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a hair loss expert. Best, Dr. Emer

It is not uncommon to shed up to 50 or so hairs per day.The effects of PRP are fairly short lived -perhaps months.It is possible that you fall into the small percentage of people who do not respond to Minoxidil -adding Finasteride may be helpful.I would discuss this with your doctor.

Without seeing the scalp up close myself it's hard to say. Please continue close follow up with your physician. You'll want to determine whether you have seborrheic dermatitis as part of the oily phenomenon you are experiencing or if there are any other issues going on the could contribute to perceived hair changes.  If there are any other issues then they need to be addressed too. Although I am not sure what minokem-f 5% is (it sounds like a compounded formulation) the following 4 treatments have been shown to help regrow and keep hair - and even help stop a shed like you describe:
1) finasteride 1mg-5mg
2) minoxidil 5% (foam seems best)
3) shampoos including zinc, selenium, coal tar, and ketoconazole
4) light therapy (photobiomodulation) 20-30 min every day or every other day
If you had to choose, and you are in your 20s, #1 would be finasteride.  Good luck!
