Great question. Sculpsure is a non-invasive procedure that reduces about 24% of fat in about half an hour with gentle heating and cooling cycles. It is commonly performed using a spray oil called Lux lotion. The purpose of this oil is to provide better contact for the pods to the skin. The use of the oil itself does not impact the outcome but helps the machine sense the skin. Whenever getting treated always make sure you see a trust worthy provider (board certified plastic surgeon is always best) that can and will answer all of your questions.
Thank you for your question. SculpSure does not use gels, but it does have versatile applicators that are customizable for a variety of body areas and sizes. I suggest that you move forward and consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon.Best wishes,
No gel is used with SculpSure treatments. Lux lotion is sprayed on the skin to improve the contact between the laser and skin to optimize the effectiveness of the treatment.
Lux lotion is sprayed finely over the contact windows but comes out like a fine watery spray. Not much is required and it does not feel or look like gel. Perhaps you read about a different fat reduction device or misinterpreted what you read.
Gel is not used during the treatments but a small amount of lux lotion should be applied to the skin to ensure the laser heads make contact with your skin when they are applied to the frames. It would be possible but risky to do the treatment without the lotion. You should discuss this with your provider.
Hi! SculpSure is not used with gel. A solution called Lux Lotion is used to help better contact with the applicators and the skin.
A solution called Lux Lotion is used to help the applicator and the laser adhere to the skin better. Very little is needed and really just needs to be applied to the corners of where the applicator is to be placed. After the procedure it can be wiped off.
Sculpsure is not done with a gel. LUX lotion can be used to help with the treatment, but no gel should be used for this treatment.
Hello and thank you for your question. No need to worry. Gel is not used with SculpSure treatments. Lux lotion is applied to the contact areas inside the applicator PACS before the SculpSure applicator is placed into the PACS. Your provider could have applied with their fingertips before attaching the SculpSure applicator.Hope this helps!
Technically speaking no gel is used. A topical liquid is placed on the skin to prevent a reaction, it is more liquid than gel.Good Luck!
Fat nodules after Sculpsure are common and a normal part of the procedure. These develop as the body begins to break down and eliminate the fat tissue. They can occur anywhere in the treated area and are not necessarily symmetrical.
Small lumps that appear after SculpSure are likely areas of dead fat called fat necrosis. These go away with time and massage can help.Lipomas are tumors of fat, are very common and are not cancerous.
