Question

Is my nose over projected? Should I get a revion to reduce the tip? And can I have the reduced without lower the bridge any further? And can I reduce the size of the nostrils too? I had my first rhinoplasty 6 months ago and I have oily, thick skin. I know the tip is still swelling be I'm afraid it won't shrink that much, please help.

Based on your photos, you appear to have a long nasal appearance and a tip that tends to droop with smiling. The good news is that you have an unoperated and pleasing nasal appearance so the feasibility of revision surgery would largely depend upon your dissatisfaction at this point. Hello! First of all thank you for your question.From the photos it looks like you have an over-projection but I don't know how was your nose before the surgery. Each patient's case is different, and expectations are also different. If you think that it is over projected and if you don't like it, you can start looking and gathering information about revision rhinoplasty. You are 6 months post-op, I recommend you to wait 6 more months to get a revision (if you do not have breathing issue).

We recommend to wait one year after the primary rhinoplasty to undergo a revision rhinoplasty as the swelling can still go down and the shape change a little bit.

Your goals are achievable. It is best to consult with an expert in revision rhinoplasty in 6 months.
