Intermittent pain/pressure 6 months after implants. Could this be my muscle? (Photo)

Thank you for submitting your question and your photos. From the images it appears you are progressing well. Some discomfort during the healing process is not uncommon. It is also common that the rate at which each breast heals is not the same. That being said, since you are only 6 months post op, as long as both breasts are soft and appear relatively symmetrical, I would not be too concerned about the intermittent discomfort as it can simply be a normal part of the healing process for your body. Remember that things will continue to improve up to a year post op. Hope this helps.

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

This is probably some scar tissue pulling on a small sensory nerve. Try to massage the area. If it continues, you might consider going down in size.

At 7 months post op you should be fully healed from surgery. I encourage you to return to your surgeon for an evaluation. If you are unable to point to a select event that caused discomfort (such as injury from exercise) and since it has been ongoing since your surgery your surgeon should be consulted.

The pain is most probably a result of your implant being under the muscle .
This usually subsides with time .
However if it does not, you may want to consider placement above the muscle.
