Based on your photo, I would start with Botox injections to the masseter muscle to help slim the appearance of your face. If that alone does not accomplish your desired effect you can try a non surgical or surgical chin enhancement. You should make an appointment with a doctor who has experience in this area to determine the ultimate treatment.
I appreciate you asking this question. To achieve a slimmer face, I would recommend a triple combination of Botox, filler, and PDO Threads. First, Botox is injected to soften the muscles. Second, a filler is injected to contour the jawline to your desired look. Lastly, PDO Threads are inserted to lift and tighten the skin. This combination results in a slimmer face and more defined jawline. All the best in health and beauty! Don’t forget to consult with your physician to know which products are right for you.
Botox can be injected into the masseter muscle to reduce the size of the muscle and create a narrower profile in the lower face. It is possible that this treatment alone will give you the results you want. However, you may also add small amounts of dermal filler in strategic locations to enhance your results further. The key to a successful procedure is to schedule a consultation with a board-certified dermatologist who has extensive experience in non-surgical facial contouring. Through an in-person assessment and detailed discussion of your concerns and goals, your doctor should be able to create a personalized treatment plan that meets your needs beautifully.
Thank you for your question - unfortunately, it is difficult to make a thorough assessment from a single image. I can tell you that Botox is used to treat a square face in some patients. The medication is injected into the masseter muscle, relaxing and reducing the muscle to create a slimmer jawline. If your primary concern is this area, Botox may be an excellent choice. However, your midface should also be assessed to determine whether fillers might need to be added to further enhance your facial contour. I recommend you schedule a consultation with a board-certified dermatologist who has expertise in non-surgical facial contouring. Through an in-person assessment and discussion of your specific concerns and goals, you should come up with a treatment plan tailored just for you.
Botox in combination with radiofrequency treatments can be used to slim and shape the jawline. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Thanks for your question. Judging from your photo, I wouldn’t perform botox to slim the lower third or your face because the results might not be what you’re looking for. I would recommend administering a combination of filler and PDO threads to your upper cheekbone area. This will add volume to the top of your face - naturally making the lower half appear slimmer. Not only that, with the use of PDO threads in combination with filler, the plumping results will last longer due to the collagen stimulation that results from the use of threads. I recommend you schedule a consultation with a board certified practitioner who can give you a more accurate idea of what will work for your desired look.
Dear nicky1290,There are several ways to achieve a more heart shaped face. Botox will slim the lower third of your face when injected properly into the masseter muscles at the correct dose. Jaw filler could make you face wider if not injected in the appropriate areas. Finally, filler can be injected into the cheeks, and/or buccal fat removed to accentuate the cheek bones. All of these techniques work in combination to create a more youthful, heart shaped face.Hope this helps,Nirmal R. Hello and thank you for your question. The best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation. Botox can be used effectively to slim the lower face when there is masseteric hypertrophy. This decision should be based on a detailed discussion with equal input from both you and your surgeon. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G. Thank you for sharing your question and photograph. Unfortunately without an in-person examination of your masseter tissues, or full series of pictures, it is difficult to offer the best treatment advice. I would see a series of ASPS board certified plastic surgeons in consultation to get the best treatment based on your goals.
A good place to begin is a consultation with an experienced injector near you. After an examination and discussion of your goals the correct treatments can be recommenced. Botox injections to the masseter muscle are commonly done to help slim the jawline.
It would be highly unusual for Botox injections to cause significant swelling and darkness under the eyes, especially 10 weeks out. If in fact your concerns are caused by the Botox, the good news is that it will wear off. If you are concerned, however, I would make an appointment with your i...
