Is it true that if a woman measures 32 that every 100cc's are equal to one cup size?
Answer: 100 cc equals one cup size? In my experience, 200 cc is closer to one cup size. That being said, everybody is different and the number of cc differs with chest width.Best of Luck.

Answer: It is 100 cc a cup size? Thanks for your question. Unfortunately there is not really a direct correlation because other factors play a role. Historically I think of about 200 CC's to a cup size. But comparing C C.s to ultimate bra size is a dangerous game because so many manufacturers cut their Bras differently. In my own practice I try not to think about cup size, I try to think about person size. We like to try to find the implant that achieves the patients goals and gives a sense of balance of the chest and the hips. We often think about the width of the implant initially to achieve a sense of balance with the hips, Next we alter the projection looking at high, moderate and low profile implants.I always recommend that my patients try on actual implant sizers to get a sense of how they will look in clothing. To me this is the best teaching tool and is discussed in the link that I have provided below.I hope that I've been helpful. Best wishes.

Answer: No, not reliable... Thank you for the question. There is no accurate/reliable/predictable correlation between size of breast implant utilized and cup size achieved. Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering breast augmentation surgery ( regarding breast implant size/profile selection) is: 1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully. Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you are looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work. 2. Have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. For example, I have found that the use of words such as “natural” or "C or D cup” etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful. Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate. Again, the use of computer imaging has been very helpful during the communication process, in our practice. 3. Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly, allow your plastic surgeon to use his/her years of experience/judgment to choose the breast implant size/profile that will best meet your goals. Again, in my practice, this decision is usually made during surgery, after the use of temporary intraoperative sizers. I hope this (and the attached link, dedicated to breast augmentation surgery concerns) helps. Best wishes.

Answer: Breasts cup size volume Dear Philadelphian, Chest and breasts circumference measurement is critical fo selecting the correct implants size. Other two important factors are your desire and your tissue elasticity. It is important that the measurements are taken by your surgeon. I have been in plastic surgery practice for over 28 years and performed breasts augmentation with implants on thousands of patients. In my experience, for a patient with chest circumference of 32 inches, the amount of volume needed for one size increase is, roughly, 125 cc. That can be either saline ( my preference ) or Silicone. For 34 inches chest circumference it is 150 cc , so on and so forth. Always, consult with experienced board certified plastic surgeon who operates in accredited surgery center for your safety. Check the before and after pictures to make sure that they are numerous, consistent and attractive. Pay special attention to the cleavage area, the perkiness, the symmetry and the natural look. Best of luck, Dr Widder

Answer: Does 100cc equal one cup size? Dear g,In general and as a rough estimate, that is true. Along with the chest circumference, it further depends on your tissue characteristics and may therefore take up to 200cc to increase one cup size at 32. Good luck!
