I followed him from his Richmond office to his Tyson office. He is so smart, kind and professional. He consults with me before every visit and clearly explains the steps needed to achieve my goals. I just love him and his work. He understands people of color skin and is great at stopping the aging process.
Both the doctor and Mitra (esthetician) were very helpful in addressing my skin care issues. They were very informative and professional and my skin looked great after one microneedling session with Mitra. I recommend her to everyone and keep coming back here whenever I need a skin treatment.
I have had a tummy tuck and a few rounds of CoolSculpting with this provider. Yesterday I got liposuction done in office on my mid to lower back, and my flanks. Today I feel great! Obviously a little sore, but nothing too bad. After coming home and resting a bit yesterday, and then having a full nights rest, I am up and about doing what I normally do. Honestly the soreness doesn't bother me, it just feels like I had an insane workout. The more I have come to this office, the more I have grown to like them. The nurses Kim and Claire are the best! They are so knowledgeable, down to earth, sweet, and overall kind human beings who care about you. The more I've interacted with Dr Sundin, especially this time around since I was awake for the lipo, I think he is super down to earth as well, funny and someone who is honest and gives it to you straight. I truly like him and this office. I would not hesitate to come back and get more procedures if need be. I'm excited on how my body is going to look in a few weeks! If you have any reservations, don't - come to this practice, you won't regret it.
After having 3 kids ages 22, 6 and 2 I decided to take the plunge and finally do something for myself. I had a tummy tuck, muscle repair and lipo of my flanks and waist with Dr. Reps Sundin on July 20, 2021. I found him on RealSelf and through my boss who had heard Dr Reps and Burton excellent reputation. I made an appointment for a consult with Dr Reps and 2 other plastic surgeons. After my consult with Dr Reps I decided to cancel the other appointments and go with him. I so badly wanted to get the procedure done and it was now or never. I had a consult end of May, paid in full and scheduled my procedure in June and had the surgery in July. The whole process went down so fast! Still can't believe I did it. I am currently 4 weeks and 1 day post-op and feeling pretty good. Everything seems to be healing well. I went back to work exactly 2 weeks after the procedure. Recovery process wasn't too bad. The day after was probably the most sore and whenever I coughed or sneezed was a killer. I took the narcotics for about 3 days and then switched to xtra strength Tylenol and that was enough for me. I was hunched for about 2 weeks, and the drains were a bit of a nuisance. I had two drains and one was removed at 1 week post-op and the other at my 2 week mark. I wore the compression garment they gave me everyday and continue to do so with lipo foam boards. I also bought a few full body fajas to transition into. I started using silicone tape and the newer faja about 3rd week post-op. I am still a little swollen on my stomach area, above the pubic bone and the lipo areas are still a little tender/sore - which is to be expected. Since this is my very first plastic surgery experience, I don't have anything else to compare it to except other medical experiences so I'll go with that. Dr. Reps seems like a nice guy although my first encounter with him he seemed a little rushed. He did tell me that it was a very busy day for him and he was missing a nurse. Instead the practice manager/patient coordinator, Rachel, was in the room with him. I think he may have been slightly annoyed because whenever he asked me a question I had some off response, but that's simply because with the face masks on, it really is hard for me to hear well. Also being a dental assistant for many years and constantly hearing the drills has really done a number in the clarity of my hearing. Despite this, I figured it might just be an off day. All good, everyone has them. My second encounter with Dr Reps was for my pre-op appt to get fitted for my garment and to take pictures. Again, another busy day for him but I get it. I work in a high volume dental office so I understand. As we were taking pictures I made a few mistakes and he did get a little frustrated. I was self conscious being half naked and getting my pictures taken that my comprehension became askew. Was a little embarrassed by it, but thank goodness for the face masks - it felt like a little shield to protect the embarrassment on my face. Surgery day was good. It was done at the Bon Secours Hospital in Richmond, Va. I stayed overnight and my husband got to stay with me as well. It was a great facility with awesome nurses! They really made me feel so comfortable and well cared for. I also got to talk to Dr Reps a bit more and he was kind, concerned and attentive... he even joked around a bit. I can see he takes his work seriously and cared about my comfort and wellbeing. The only negative thing I would have to say about the entire experience is the delay and mostly lack of response I get via email regarding post op questions and concerns I've had. In the beginning Rachel was great in getting back to me, setting up the appointments and getting payments. Post op wise, it hasn't been as great. I still have an email I sent a few weeks ago with no response back, but I don't want to be a nuisance so I've gotten a lot of my questions answered through RealSelf and reading other people's experiences... oh, and also Google. You can find the answer to anything with Google. Also, this is the second time this has happened where my appointment had to be rescheduled because I was scheduled with the wrong doctor (I've saw Dr Burton once when Dr Reps was out on vacation and I really liked him!). The first time was for my pre-op appointment, and the second time was for my 1 month follow up. I mean it wouldn't be a big deal except it is an inconvenience since I already planned it out for that specific day and time to coincide with my bosses schedule. I can't really take off since I am my doctors main dental assistant. I did like a nurse in their Tysons office named Claire, I think that's her name. She seemed really sweet, caring and informative when I saw her a few times. I really liked her bedside manner. All in all, I think Dr. Reps did a great job! I'm loving how my body is looking each day and I can't wait for the full results! I'm happy I got the work done and I am contemplating of what else I'd like to do next.
I had a tummy tuck by Dr. Sundin on August 12th after losing 82.8 lbs in the a last year. I had 6 lbs of hanging skin on the front of my stomach which was interfering with my exercising and greatly affecting my appearance. I am already back to exercising, the surgery was easy and healing process was amazing. This is truly the best time to get work done. It is ok to put yourself 1st, you are totally worth it. I was super impressed with the office and the amazing office staff. I felt safe and secure. Thank you so much Dr. Sundin for improving my overall quality of life. I have never been happier in my whole life. Truly!!!!
I am so thankful that I chose Dr. Reps Sundin for Botox! I was anxious prior to going into the office for a consultation, however; after meeting with Dr. Sundin I felt much so much better. Dr. Sundin’s approach and honest expert opinion enabled me to go forward with my first Botox treatment. I am beyond happy with my results! I will continue to see Dr. Reps Sundin for all of my Botox treatments and any future plastic surgery procedures that I may need in the future. I highly recommend him!
Great doctors and great office staff! I had three surgeries on my chest for skin cancer. I expected my chest to look really bad but am very very happy with the results. I cannot imagine that anyone could do a better job! Thank you, Dr. Sundin!!
From the moment I walked through the door, I had the most amazing experience. The staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and relaxed. Dr. Sundin did an amazing job repairing my hernia and saving my belly button. I couldn't be happier!
I initially had started considering a tummy tuck for cosmetic reasons but due to the expense it's something I probably would have waited on, except as I did more research on it, I discovered that it helped with bladder issues in many cases. Since my third baby, I had been to two other doctors to address leakiness. While each of them helped, neither of them fixed it. Then, along came Dr. Reps Sundin! I'm fixed!!! It feels so good to be normal again. The extra abdominal support I now have has made all the difference. And the best part is: I have flat abs. For the first time since my teens! Not only was every part of the experience comfortable and professional, I got a bonus. I have an extensive abdominal tattoo that I expected to get pretty messed up with a tummy tuck. You know what? It looks great! I asked Dr. Sundin if he made an effort to keep it looking good and he said that he had focused on that. So, the tattoo will not need any revision. It's truly amazing. It looks great in every way and for the first time in 14 years my bladder is functioning normally. I am beyond grateful for the professional and compassionate care I received from Dr. Sundin and his wonderful staff. I look great and I feel great!! Worth it!!
I had two rounds of Infini done with Dr. Sundin's staff and am 100% happy with the results. It removed a network of wrinkles from my cheeks, deep lines over my top lip, and most important of all, it got rid of the sagging skin at my Adam's apple, which I wanted gone most of all. It was money well spent and I highly recommend this procedure done by this office. It's important to work with an office with properly trained staff. When you have the procedure, you'll see it's heavy duty so you want it done right. Note that you may want to schedule your first round for a time when you have about a week to stay out of the limelight. Your face looks pretty weird for about a week or so. After the second round, my face looked pretty normal after just a few days.
only a surgical revision will fix, your assymetry, looks like the lift failed on the left. Sorry, Did you also have a buccal fat reduction?
Airsculpt is just a trademarked name for liposuction using tickle lipo (power assisted liposuction) and now they have added Renuvion. The results depend more on the surgeon evaluating and performing your procedure. I would definetly recommend Renuvion with Liposuction for you as you do appear to have loose skin.
PAH is typically fully cured with TRADITIIONAL LIPOSUCTION. Certain liposuction techniques such as power assisted liposuction or vaser might facilitate removal of PAH, they ARE NOT necessary, despite what some providers are claiming. I have treated numerous patients sucessfully with PAH over the course of the last 10 years. Unfortunately Kellie, In your case I fear that your distortion of your stomach may be a result of recurrent rectus diastasis and internal visceral fat. It is hard to tell without an in person examination.
Generally I recommend 2 weeks off work for a tummy tuck. The second week patient can often have small daily outings or a meeting for an hour or two. It really just depends on how intensive your course load will be following spring break. You wouldn't want to travel more than an 2 hours away from my surgeon during this period, and you wouldn't want to have any exams or major assignments.
I think you could have a nice result with liposuction and Renuvion/Jplasma skin tightening. There may be a small amount of excess skin at the bottom fold, this could be addressed with a mini tummy tuck either at the time of the initial liposuction or latter. The only downside is this would no allow for plication of the the upper abdominal muscles; to do this you would need a full tummy tuck.
