You will benefit greatly from these procedures which will restore a nice contour to your torso and abdomen. A mons reduction should always be a part of these procedures. In general these are done at the same time. We do a drainless tummy tuck to minimize recovery time and risk of seroma. We use Exparel to decrease post-operative pain.

Thank you for your question and photos. Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck) will address excess skin and repair of your abdominal muscles. Liposuction will help get rid of excess fat. Your expectations and health will dictate the best procedure(s) for you. I suggest a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to go over the options that best address your goals. Hi. Based on your pictures, I think you would likely be a good candidate for tummy tuck, liposuction of the flanks, and a mons reduction. I would recommend consulting with a board-certified plastic surgeon with good experience with body contouring who can examine you and go over the details of all of those with you and based on your specific clinical situation. Good luck and take care, Dr. Howell
Based on your limited photos - it appears that you are a good candidate for an extended tummy tuck with a possible vertical component. I suggest that you seek an experienced Board Certified PS for in person exam
Dear sohappy101,Based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a TT. Full tummy tuck should tighten your abdominal muscles and remove the excess skin. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Hello and thank you for your question. Based on the photo, I believe you are an excellent candidate for a tummy tuck and 360 liposuction of your flanks and back. During tummy tuck, extra skin in the lower half of your abdomen including the stretch marks will be removed. In addition, typically the fascial laxity/separation of recti muscles will be taken care of by muscle plication, giving you a flat abdomen. The added liposuction of your hips/flanks will help with creating a natural and aesthetic waistline. Incision can be placed very low to be hidden under bikini. With proper surgical technique, belly button can be designed to be a true 'innie'. Recovery from tummy tuck is 1-2 weeks. Strenuous activity and lifting heavy weights should be avoided 6 weeks to 3 months post op. I would seek consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon for a full evaluation and advice.
