Is it possible for your body to reject Restylane? Scared I'll get the same results.

Silk is a VERY thin product best served to fill in superficial lines around the lips and what you likely experienced is the swelling that accompanies any injection placement.  Refyne and Defyne are thicker products which should supply an improved look and duration of results over silk.  Hope this helps.

Hi, different facial fillers are suited to different parts of the face to provide proper volume and lift. Most popular fillers are hyaluronic acid but still possess different structural properties that make them each unique. It is certainly possible that your filler either dissolved quicker or you may have needed more volume after the swelling resolved. 

It is hard to give a good opinion about your question without a picture. Sometimes lasers or Infini are needed to improve lines around the mouth. However, in many cases, superficially place filler using small needles can also help. The improvement should last 9 months approximately. Silk tends to be degraded quickly by the body. I wouldn't be scared of further injections.
