I had restylene silk about a year ago around my mouth to lessen lines. It looked great for about two days. After that time, it was as if I threw $1300 in the trash. I'm told the Restylene Defyn may be a better option but so scared I'll get the same results. Is it possible that some fillers just don't work for some people? Thank you so much for your time.

Restylane Silk is small particle hyaluronic acid filler which is great for filling in perioral fine lines and adding subtle hydration/volume to the lips. However, in younger patients or those looking for more lip volume, it may not be enough. In these cases I may use Restylane Defyne, Restylane-L or Juvederm Ultra.
