I am 48 year old female. My right upper eyelid does not have the proper support provided by the fatty tissue due to a trauma 20 years ago. The lack of fat deprives the upper eyelid of the volumes necessary for the overall harmony of my face. My question is instead of temporarily injections into the eyelid, can this condition be fixed by surgery permanently? Thank you for answering my question.

I am not a big fan of this procedure, especially in a 20-something year old patient. With the availability of excellent long lasting volumizers, the need for this procedure, which isn't without certain risk, should be few and far between.
For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in-person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest...
