The tattoos on the side will likely be partially removed and the upper tattoo will be moved down some. Your new belly button will likely end up in or near the bottom of the upper tattoo. Sometimes we are able to remove the entire tattoo but if they aren't in the right spot or too large they may need to be touched up or modified.
Dear Melxx101,based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a TT. Full tummy tuck should tighten your abdominal muscles and remove the excess skin. Flanks liposuction would give you a better shape. Based on your photos, it looks like you will lose only lower parts of your tattoos. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
It depends on the extent of correction involved, however your tattoos will most likely be affected in some way. Chances are, they will be either partially removed or even warped, since the skin will be pulled downward.
Unfortunately, the two lateral tattoos will be partially removed. The remaining portions of them will be cut off at the scar. The weed tattoo will remain but will be elongated vertically and distorted as the skin it is in travels asymmetrically downward, with the upper portion of the leaf traveling less distance than the lower portion of the leaf. Also, the lower portion of the leaf will be relocated to a point on your abdomen where your belly button is, so it will be surround the belly button.
Thanks so much for your inquire, If your tattoos are located on the lower abdomen, particularly below the belly button, there is a higher chance that they will be affected. The skin in this area is often removed or repositioned during the surgery. Different surgeons have different techniques and approaches. Your surgeon might be able to reposition the skin to preserve as much of your tattoo as possible, but this cannot be guaranteed.During your consultation, discuss your tattoos with your surgeon. They can give you a clearer idea of how the surgery might impact your tattoos and whether any parts can be preserved.Sincerely, Dr. Emmanuel Mallol
Thanks for your question! You are going to lose about 1/2 of the side tattoos. You will just need to re-touch or cover up those two. Good luck!
Thank you for your question regarding the impact of tummy tuck and BBL on your tattoos.Based on examining your photos, it is likely that you will lose the tattoos from your belly button down with a tummy tuck and BBL. However, you will absolutely get to keep your weed plant tattoo. Your other tattoos will likely be cut off, but you can always get them re-tattooed in the future.Good luck with your surgery, and I hope this helps to answer your question regarding tattoos and tummy tucks.Sincerely,J. Some, but not all of your tattoos will remain, which can be reinked once healed if desired. Your upper tattoo might be stretched some. You need to decide if you prefer a tight flat abdomen or tattoos.
Yes, based on the placement of your tattoos they will be impacted by a tummy tuck. The ones to the sides of your belly button will be partially excised. The one above your belly button may be pulled lower. Your surgeon can demonstrate what you can expect in terms of the final influence of the incisions.
