I got my BA yesterday morning. I was in pain for the rest of the day but managed. Today is a little better, I can sit up and down easily. I have a roster of 6 medicines to take daily and that includes acetaminophen, whic is helping greatly. My right breast is fine, I barely feel anything there, but my left one is pretty sore and painful. I had multiple consultations last year and I had two surgeons in mind, I eventually went with Dr Andry because her instagram was very informative and she posted a bunch of patients results I really liked. My boyfriend drove me to the medical center and had to come in with me to check in as my designated driver. When I was taken to my bed area, the nurses took my vitals and started my IV, and the anesthesiologist came in to tell me what would happen in the OR. Lastly, dr Andry came in to draw the lines on my chest. I only remember entering the OR, and then waking up in a different room. Doc was there and she told me everything went well. Driving home, I gulped some gatorade with a straw as I hadn’t had any water since the night before, and unfortunately I vomited it after a fee minutes (reminder to have a plastic bag in the pick up car). I had normal appetite for the rest of the day, and ate healthy food. I can’t wait to shower, the paperwork says to wait 3/4 so it’s body wipes for now. I think I’ll be happy with the results. I hope I won’t get the infamous boob greed, but I need to keep in mind that I started from zero boobs so this will only be an improvement. I’ll come back with updates and video to show jiggliness in a few weeks. Updated on 6 May 2025: I’m 6 days post-op! I can’t wait to have my first post op appointment in 2 days, as I have a lot of questions. Recovery kicked my ass for the first 3 days. All my muscles in the chest/armpit area hurt like crazy, I was very limited in all my movements. Additionally, I’ve had crazy nerve pain in my left breast, from the armpit to the nipple. I was able to pull my bottoms up and now alone (just very very slowly) but for any change of bra and button up shirt I had to ask my boyfriend for help. He was also very good at making sure that our dog wouldn’t sleep on our bed, where she’s always slept at night. The day before surgery, I did many laundry cycles to make sure everything got washed with an antibacterial detergent: bed sheets, towels, the clothes I would wear during recovery. I showered on day two, by myself. I only kept my back to the water the whole time, and I washed my armpits and belly area with the hibiclens soap. I’m just trying to do everything I can to keep bacteria away from the incision, to avoid getting CC. Days 4 and 5 felt progressively better, I was even comfortable enough to go get coffee with a 5 minute drive. Today, day 6, I woke up with basically no muscle pain! I got ready for work and drove there with no problems. The only movement I’m avoiding are those that require my arms to stretch fully to the side or above me, as well as picking up anything too heavy. What’s bugging me: the tadas look exactly what they looked like on day 1. The right one has dropped a few millimeters but the left one is still a hard rock bolted under my clavicle. While the right one feels perfectly fine, the left one gave me burning nerve pain, is completely numb from the nipple down and is more swollen at the top. All normal, but I’m really hoping she’ll get get it together soon.
I have wanted to get a tummy tuck for a couple of years. I met with several doctors, but didn't feel comfortable with any until I met with Dr. Andry! My god, she really performed a miracle. I finally have a waist, but not only a waist, an hour glass figure. Her work far exceeds my expectations. I still can't believe that only 3 months ago, I had what I would call "two stomachs" now I have a taut midriff and can wear a bikini! She liposuctioned my back and flanks along with the tummy tuck. It was so worth it. I wish I would have found Dr. Andry sooner! She is an artist. My stomach looks better now than it did when I was in my 20's. Updated on 16 Nov 2022: I'm adding the before and after from the doctor's office, which was taken before and 3 months after. I am now 5 months post op and I still find it difficult to believe this is my body now. My swelling is still subsiding.
I tried Kybella and coolsculpting many times with no results. I finally decided on surgery. I consulted with 3 surgeons, but Dr. Andry really blew me away. I just love her bedside manner and she's thorough and answers all questions. The procedures were painless and my results are steadily coming in. Updated on 14 Feb 2022: The swelling is going down. Still wearing the chin wrap at night. Left side is more swollen because it was harder to remove the buccal fat from that side. I am very pleased with the results thus far, and looking forward to seeing the final result! Posted some photos, will likely post more when I put on some make up again! Updated on 5 Apr 2022: Just wanted to give another update. I'm approaching the 3 month mark in a couple of weeks. I still have some swelling here and there, but for the most part, it has resolved. I try to do a lymphatic drainage massage on my face once a day to help with swelling. I think for me, buccal fat removal and chin lipo was really the way to go. I don't have to suck my cheeks in for pictures anymore, and everyone says my face now looks more proportional with my body.
I knew from the day of my consultation that Dr.Andry would take such good care of me! She made me feel extremely comfortable throughout the entire process & I am so happy that she was able to work on my body and shape it to exactly how I wanted it. I got a lipo 360 + BBL, and Im IN LOVE with my new shape!! The confidence and joy that i now have now, is unreal. At the time I was a 34yr old mother of 4. Ht 5"0 Wt 212. I love Dr. Danielle Andry and the staff is amazing Mavi there office manager handles all you needs they reply right away. They work out of St. Joseph here in Houston TX, the hospital staff was amazing as well. I decided not to stay overnight at the hospital. The oka provided me a Nurse that came out 3day after my procedure follow up with a home visit for a Massage therapist 7 day post surgery. Pain YES ! it a painful process.. the whole Healing process is crazy, you go through pain first... then extreme tightness.. Then pain and tightness.. I had a hard time clearing my body (thank God for my husband) A recliner is the best way to recover. If you don't have a support system this is not the procedure for you!. If you have small children you'll need double the help. Pain meds are a most. A side table helps out tremendously. Don't do too much too fast. You're after procedure gorram is going to hurt!! Keep it on as much as possible because if you don't you will swell and have a hard time putting it back on. Self massage helps out a lot. Updated on 16 Sep 2019: Feeling good at 8 weeks post very little pain remaining. I still have swollen of course I'm really excited I'm down to a size 12!!!! From a 18-20 ! I just love Dr. Danielle Andry she's the best !!!!! I really appreciate the time they take out to cater to their patients needs. Updated on 27 Mar 2021: I started my journey off at 212 pounds. After a c-section and multiple pregnancies my stomach never went back. 19 pounds were removed after time.. I currently weighed 177. Im happy with my new body but I'll properly be getting a little light flank( love handles) and back work done
The Dr and her entire staff was very respectful, friendly, and courteous to me and my fiancé.. They answered all questions and made sure I was comfortable before and after my surgery. I cant wait to get my second one. Better yet I want to get them at least 2- 3xs a week Updated on 22 Jun 2019: The first 2 pics was taken 2 days after surgery. 1st time I could shower afterwards...The next 3 was taken today right before my 1st massage. Still alot swollen but I see a little improvement. I have minimal pain Updated on 29 Jun 2019: Well this is day 11 after my surgery and I get my garnet put on next week. Ive just been wearing the waist trainer they put on me after surgery and my dr wanted to wait till the swelling went dwn some.. I’m already seeing results
I did not have a pleasant experience with this surgeon. I paid thousands for terrible, lazy work TWICE. Can’t be trusted to fix her own mistakes. Terrible. Would not recommend. My vagina looks worse now after her work than before I fear. Theres nothing you can do once you mess that up, you can’t put that skin back. It’s cheap for a reason unfortunately. When it comes too this specifically I reckon you go elsewhere for better results.
In my experience, Aviva is one of the most effective methods as it delivers bipolar energy under the skin. In measuring my patients before and after the procedure, I have found that it reduces length of the labia minora by 20-30%. Surgical labiaplasty is certainly more powerful and has very minimal risk of sensory changes when the mucosa alone is removed.
Agressive resection of the clitoral hood area can change sensation after labiaplasty. For my patients, I only remove the superficial mucosal area to ensure that no changes to sensation occur.
Yes, I believe you would be a good candidate for labiaplasty. I have repaired several women who have had torn labia minora following childbirth. The repair is very similar to a wedge labiaplasty. I typically perform this under local anesthesia in the office.
In my experience, I find that the downside of trim labiaplasty can be scar irritation, as it is along the most prominent area of the labia minora. I have performed several revision procedures in converting these patients to a wedge with improvements in symptoms. It would be important to make sure you have sufficient tissue to have a revision procedure and to determine which specific area of the incision line is causing the most irritation and pain to ensure that an additional procedure would be safe and would improve your symptoms.
Hi, I agree that the best option would be a revision of the scar around your areola, then optimizing scar management from day 1. I use a combination of pressure dressings, steroid, silicone, and radio frequency to help with our scar management. Good luck!
