Is it safe to buy botox online?

I found several Botox suppliers online, such as Fillersupplies, BeautyDermal, Medicadepot and PDcosmetics, where anyone can buy Botox if they show a license. I also searched for reviews of Fillersupplies, and all the reviews were positive. How safe is it to buy Botox from these suppliers and what are the risks?

Thank you for posting your question. It is not safe to order Botox online. Fake Botox has lead to paralysis. That is another reason you only want a board-certified physician to perform your treatment.  I hope this helps.

My recommendation is to only buy Botox from the manufacturer, Allergan, directly.  I would say there is a risk of not getting the real product when it is bought online.

Botox may only be purchased LEGALLY by licensed physicians.  While many products are readily available online, the questions you must raise is:
Is it real (not counterfeit)?
Botox must be refrigerated...has it been stored appropriately and shipped in dry ice or at least an intact freezer pack?

I would not recommend it at all. I suggest you make an appointment with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon or a Dermatologist. A professional health care provider is able to perform a full clinical evaluation and establish the treatment a given patient needs. Botox treatment (facial aesthetics, migraine, hyperhidrosis, TMJ, etc) should be provided only by the aforementioned specialists. Would definitely not recommend at all getting botox elsewhere.

You need a medical license to legally buy Botox.  Only trained professionals should administer the product.  I would not recommend buying it online.

I think you should only buy Botox from the company that is licensed to sell it in the US.  You have to worry about the ingredients used to make it and not just the active ingredient.  There is a risk of infection, wrong dosing, etc.  I would not do that.
