Can I use minoxidil to help regrow my eyebrows?

We have patients who want to try everything prior to a transplant.  Minoxidil is commonly used in our office for the brows.  It doesn't hurt to see what kind of results you can get from the product.  The product does stop working once you discontinue use.  You may need to consider a transplant to thicken your brows at some point.

Any hair growth from minoxidil will not last if you stop using it.  There is definitely a risk of losing eyebrow hair with laser treatment.  You have to weigh out the risks versus any benefit.

Minoxidil can sometimes help in the area of the brow so you should certainly try it.  If you don't have any success, transplant is the best option. 

Minoxidil can certainly be tried but be sure to speak to your dermatologist about uses and side effects.If the hairs are injured, minoxidil can help in recovery and no - use would not be forever.Overall, most people who experience eyebrow loss following laser do not experience regrowth and the only option for improving density is an eyebrow transplant.Give it time to see if some degree of recovery can occur.

You can use minoxidil to see if it helps.  If it does help with regrowth then continue if not you can stop after  a few months. If minoxidil does not help eye brow transplant is a viable treatment option for eyebrow . 

You can try minoxidil, but considering the history, if you don't get good growth in 8 or so months, then only a eyebrow transplant will work.
