Hello Doctors , I had HT 40 days ago , since 2 weeks ago I had acne like breakout just on my forehead, but none in my recipient area (I’m sure bc I check it everyday), I ignored it,  thought it was due to Finasteride or having oily skin after surgery. Now I learned that it could be folliculitis, would this affect my final result or lessen my graft survival ? Should i take an antibiotic? (It’s less than before after i take showers) Thanks dcs

An outbreak like this so soon after your transplant should warrant a visit to the surgeon who did your transplant for evaluation.

By the 3rd week, the hair transplant recipient site should have healed so the acne you developed should not impact the recipient site grafts
