Donor area needs approx 2 weeks to heal. However it can still be sensitive and red for up to 4 weeks post op
It is best to contact your surgeon for post surgery issues and care since all doctors have slightly different instructions.
Sensitivity in the donor area is common up to the second week post-op, although we do sometimes see patients with soreness up to the third week. Expect the soreness to diminish over the next few days, and if you are still having soreness at the 21 day mark, then contact your physician who performed the procedure.
Hello, Thank you for the question and uploading photo. It is very normal to have a sensitive donor area 2-3 weeks after the surgery. The existing hair is growing back through the sores after the extraction, try to use some moisturizer to make the sores softer, and try not to lay down on your donor area for a few days.
Congratulations on your recent surgery! It is very normal to be sensitive in the area of FUE harvest for up a few months following your procedure. Your donor area in the photo looks to be growing in well and there is not unusual findings. You may find it more comfortable to rest with your head elevated while it is still sensitive.

It is normal to have scalp sensitivity post op fue hair transplant. Tylenol can be used and should help.
Your donor area looks healed. There is always small nerve damage produced from an FUE and possibly some larger nerve got injured during the surgery. This will probably go away with time but your doctor can determine this at time through an examination of the donor area looking for a sensitivity over the damaged nerve
