I'm a 17-day post-op rhinoplasty patient. I have an upper respiratory infection.

Question

I have been coughing for the last two days. I try to cough through my mouth not to increase pressure around nose area but am still concerned. I haven't had any bleeding or major pain. I only have mild discomfort while coughing sometimes. WIll this affect my end result? Should I be worried? Thanks

Thanks for your question. Sorry about your cold. Unfortunately this can happen, but this shouldn't affect your long-term result in any way. Keep using your nasal saline to help keep the inside of your nose healthy. But coughing shouldn't affect things at all. Good luck.
