A month ago I had gyno surgery including lipo and removal of the gland. After i removed the vest it looked fantastic. I didn't have any bruising. With time I noticed that my areolas (left one especially) are getting puffy. Now, the right one is fine by me The left one looks puffy and big almost as it was before. I have no unusual pain in my chest, though some times when i touch my areolas its painful. I dont think that there is any gland left. why are my areolas so puffy? Will it get better?

Typically I do not ice after surgery. The skin is sensitive to the temperature extremes, and the benefit is small enough that the risk is not worth it,
