Increased heart beat after PRP treatment on face. What are the precautions for future treatments?

Typically PRP treatment does not cause increase in heart rate.The procedure can elicit anxiety that can in turn cause increase in heart rate  (temporarily). Another explanation,  unlikely  but possibly, could be some sort of limited allergic reaction. 

I do not think PRP itself causes the increase heart beat. I agree with the other experts here that it is likely due to anxiety. You may take an anti-anxiety medication 30 minutes before your next treatment.

Hi rehana2003,Is it your first time to have increased heartbeat? Most likely, your symptoms are an offshoot of your anxiety over the procedure. The volume is far too small for it to affect you the way it did. It is also not injected directly into a major vessel. You also could not suffer from any incompatibility because the blood injected is your own.Still, it's best to take precautions.
