 Ultherapy is not a laser. It is focused ultrasound not only to visualize the treatment layers but uses the ultrasound to create little internal wounds via the ultrasound which your body will want to repair.  During this repair process you will create new collagen to give you the lift to your lower face that you are looking for. This will help diminish your nasal labial folds and marionette lines to help you look more well rested. There is no blood involved as with a Co2 laser.  Pain tolerance varies per patient.  I suggest you find a board certified Dermatologist to give you a consultation.

Ultherapy uses focused ultrasound so it is not a laser. The advantage is that it can deliver the energy to specific depths under the skin where it stimulates collagen regeneration and lifting with no downtime. There is no nonsurgical procedure that does what a facelift or eyelid surgery does so I don't consider Ultherapy to be an alternative for patients who would be best served by a facelift. This depends on the age of the patient and other factors. My guess is that you would get a better result from a surgical procedure.
