Is it better to do double eyelids surgery before eyebrows tattoo?

HiYes it's better to do your eyelids and then wait a few months for the lid swelling to settle down before the brows are done.  Once the skin is no longer thickened and the skin is soft and pliable the brow position will be less likely to shift.  Dr. Chow

Generally there is an interaction between the position of the eyebrow, the upper eyelid fold and the activity of the frontalis muscle.  Performing eyelid surgery will affect the exact position of the eyebrow.  The change may is usually subtle.  However due to this reason, it is best to wait until after surgery before having a brow tattoo.

Hi, the eyebrow position may wind up lower if the brows are currently in a low position and the maximum amount of upper eyelid skin is being removed from the upper eyelids.  If the tattoo will completely replace the eyebrow position, this isn't an issue.  However, if the tattoo is to reinforce or enhance the eyebrow shape of existing eyebrows, then the following assessment should be made prior to your surgery.Surgeon stands behind you and elevates the eyebrows into the proper aesthetic position taking note of the change and amount of remaining excess upper eyelid skin.  Three outcomes are possible and dictate the best surgical procedures for rejuvenating the upper eyelids in women:With the eyebrows in the ideal aesthetic position, all the excess upper eyelid skin is gone.  This indicates all of the upper eyelid fullness is from low eyebrows and a Brow lift and not an upper eyelid surgery is required.  Should an upper eyelid surgery be done, the brows will be pulled into a lower position as the incisions are closed.There is some excess upper eyelid skin remaining.  This means some, but not all, of the excess upper eyelid skin can be removed with an upper eyelid surgery.  The remaining eyelid fullness is due to low eyebrows and must be corrected with a Brow Lift.  I have often performed both at the same time.  During surgery, I use this technique to measure the precise amount of upper eyelid skin to be removed from each eye.With the brows lifted all of the upper eyelid fullness remains indicating it can all be removed with an upper eyelid surgery alone.Every potential Brow Lift and Upper eyelid Surgery patient, that's female, should have this evaluation performed during their consultation in order to determine which procedure or combination of procedures (Brow lift and eyelid surgery) is best for their particular case.Hope this helps.
