I have a bump on my nose and I don't like it I was wondering if I broke it on the bridge from the front would it fix it or just worsen it I tried to get best images of it

Answer: Rhinoplasty for dorsal hump removal The dorsal hump is composed of both cartilage and bone and it must be surgically shaved down in order to remove it. A rhinoplasty procedure is required to shave down the dorsal hump which can be accomplished with a closed rhinoplasty approach. Osteotomies of the nasal bones are required to straighten the nose from being broken along with closing the open roof created from the hump removal.
