In our practice, we do not recommend fillers placed in the nose due to the fact that they are only temporary, are not FDA approved for that application, and can have serious complications such as skin necrosis. Fillers would only make the nose bigger, taller, and wider on a temporary basis. A surgical rhinoplasty can accomplish shaving down the dorsal hump which is composed of mostly cartilage and some bone. Osteotomies of the nasal bones are then required.
