Answer: Shoulder pain Thank you for your question. The pain that you are describing is like the result of positioning during surgery. Your plastic surgeon may recommend a muscle relaxant to help with the shoulder pain and stiffness. Numb areas on the breast following breast augmentation are quite common and generally resolve as healing progresses. Best of luck.

Answer: Shoulder pain after surgery Your shoulder pain is likely due to positioning at surgery. It will probably improve slowly on its own. You should discuss this with your plastic surgeon. If your symptoms don't get better, your surgeon may refer you for testing or to be seen by an orthopedic surgeon.

Answer: Bad shoulder pain - 4 days post-op. Pain in particular parts of the body after surgery is commonly experienced b patients. Usually, it is due to the severed tissues that are starting to regenerate. The pain usually subsides as you heal but there are times when it becomes intolerable. The pain may also be related to your sleeping position and daily activities. It would be best to consult with your surgeon regarding this and have him/her prescribe pain medication if the pain is intolerable.
