One side of my upper top lip is bigger than the other side, when the swelling has gone down will this sort itself out? (Photos)

I just got my lips done again with juverderm , this is probably the 10th time and I have been getting them done since I was 18 and im now 21. And its been 2 days which I know isn't long enough to heal , but one side of my lip is bigger ! What can I do? I have a bad feeling im going to be stuck like this lol.

Swelling is common after lip augmentation.  It can take up to 2 weeks for the swelling to subside.  If you have concerns after 2 weeks, contact your injector for an evaluation.  Hyaluronidase can help reverse the filler.  Best Wishes,

Swelling is typical and can be asymmetrical after lip fillers. I would wait a full 2 weeks before judging the results. If it is after the two week wait, you can have the filler reversed with hyaluronidase.

The asymmetry immediately following filler injections could be explained as a post-procedure swelling. It would be much more difficult to explain if you left the office with asymmetrical lips, unless there was a significant bruising on that side. The best option at this time would be to see your injector to make him/her aware of the problem and allow to diagnose the reason.
You must also be aware of potential for long term complications of overfilling your lips. Recurrent injections of too large volume will progressively stretch the tissue to the point that lips will begin to sag and look very deflated. Eventually, it may lead to surgical lip reduction. Unfortunately, this real long term side effect of the "overdone" lips is rarely discussed prior to injections. Depending on the individual lip anatomy the "critical" lip volume varies. But what remains constant is the natural lip size for a given face, ranging from very thin to very full, but natural, lips. Predictably, there is a very thin line dividing a full beautiful set of lips and ridiculous look. Good luck!
