I developed dark lines a few days after but had no bruising immediately after the procedure. I've waited 2 years to see if the darkness would subside but it looks exactly the same, maybe even worse. I dont think this is tyndal because it doesn't look bluish. Are these permenant scars? Will they go away if I disolve the filler? What can I do if they don't go away after dissolving? Any injections/lasers/PRP? I have indian/olive skin tone if that helps.
Answer: #juverderm #cannulainjection #bruising #recovery #darkundereye #holloweye #teartrough Dear me_againThank you for your question and photos! The dark color - may have been there and now more noticeable due to correction of the hollow , or could be a result of bruising and staining of the skin. You should return to the injector to discuss. Lytera is a good cream for dark color along with Retin A - the combo can help, may be irritating to the eyelid skin and can take time to help. With warm RegardsTrevor M Born MD

Answer: I have never been a fan of injecting Juvederm into the tear trough unless the patient has very thick skin in that area Thank you for your question! I have never been a fan of injecting Juvederm into the tear trough unless the patient has very thick skin in that area which is rarely the case. I think the darkness that you may be seeing could be related to the Tyndall effect as it is manifested in someone of your skin color. I think you should speak to either the original injector or plastic surgeon like myself and have a full evaluation. Hyaluronidase maybe the answer in your case, but again you need a full evaluation. Best of luck!

Answer: Tear troph Thank you for sharing your pictures. Since you had the filler placed two years ago, it is not necessary for it to be dissolved. However, using a good eye cream combined with microneedling and PRP may help lighten the dark lines. Best of luck.

Answer: Permanent scars after tear trough filler did your doctor take pre injection photos? If so you should look at them to see if there is a difference between then and now. If he/she didn't I think it's a mistake for this exact reason. The duration of HA fillers under the eyes goes from 2-4 years as anyone with experience will tell you
