IPL while on 20mg isotretinoin, safe for treating acne?

My dermatologist suggests that I undergo IPL for my acne marks while on 20mg Isotretinoin. I've been reading that this isn't safe. Should I go ahead with the treatment anyway?

Yes, most pregnant women should still be able to receive an IPL Photofacial. IPL is only a light source and very safe during pregnancy. To be on the safe side, I would check with your OB doctor for their opinion.

The area which has not been treated will continue to have hair growth as normal whereas the area which was treated effectively with the IPL will not have hair growth. In order to receive the full benefit of the IPL treatments you should continue with the treatments on a regular basis.
