Thank you for your question. Yes, but you will only need that if the IPL on day 1 wasn't done right. If it as done right, you should not need another one for 3-4 weeks. If you just want to spend money for something that yields little, that is fine too. Get another IPL, just don't expect to get much out of it. I hope this helps.
Absolutely not. I suggest waiting 4-6 weeks between each IPL treatment. The skin needs to heal and recover from each treatment and wait for the sun spots to flake off so that it doesn't interfere with the laser reheating the remaining pigmentation. Hope this helps
I dont think thats a great idea, I advice you to wait at least 4 weeks between each IPL.
NO! There is no reason to get IPL treatments 2 days apart. We usually recommend 2 weeks apart. Hope this helps. Dr. Grant Stevens Marina Plastic Surgery Associates Marina del Rey, CA The Institute
You would be retreating the same spots with little additional benefit if you did two IPL treatments two days apart. Some areas may be darker from the first treatment and may absorb more of the light during the second treatment possibly increasing the risk of a blister or scab.
It is recommended that you wait 3-4 weeks normally between IPL treatments and I would absolutely not do it on someone after only 2 days, unless we are treating totally different areas. The skin needs time to respond to what was done and retreating after 2 days could potentially damage the skin or even create burns.
Thank you for your question. If you have brown or red getting better, then it is helping. If you are not seeing any benefit, then it is not helping. If you have precancerous lesions like actinic keratosis they can be getting reduced. Have a Board Certified Dermatologist or Board Certified...
Having an IPL does not restrict your physical activities. I would recommend avoiding direct sunlight and using sunblock (like the one found in the Miracle 10 line) is a must as sensitivity to burning increases with this treatment. Be sure to direct any inquiries to your...
Thank you for your question. I have been doing IPL for the past 10 years, and have yet to see fat loss from IPL. If IPL energy was so good at reducing fat, there would be a machine on every block advertising fat loss from IPL. IPL can reduce brown discoloration and red vessels. If you don't...
Thank you for your question. Very unlikely, but I would not say impossible. If you are already prone to a little vertigo, and have some inflammation around your eyes, from the IPL treatment, then this could cause a bit, but it would be considered rare, and I have not seen it. Theoretical more...
Thank you for your question. It is a good policy to just use sunscreen for the 2-3 days prior to an Ipl treatment just to be safe and allow any product residue to be removed with washing. An IPL picks up so many different things, it is bets to be safe and allow those few days to cleanse the...
Continuing your IPL series would help eliminate deep pigmentation and bring it out the surface, make sure to wear appropriate sun protection daily
