Having an IPL does not restrict your physical activities. I would recommend avoiding direct sunlight and using sunblock (like the one found in the Miracle 10 line) is a must as sensitivity to burning increases with this treatment. Be sure to direct any inquiries to your esthetician.
I normally inform my patients to wait at least 48 hours after having an IPL treatment, usually the skin is more sensitive so I suggest avoiding direct sunlight and wearing spf daily.

As long as you are wearing sunscreen, you should be fine to do exercises even immediately after receiving an IPL treatment. I don't tell my patients to limit any physical activities after IPL as long as they protect their skin with sunscreen.
