Thank you for your question. It is a good policy to just use sunscreen for the 2-3 days prior to an Ipl treatment just to be safe and allow any product residue to be removed with washing. An IPL picks up so many different things, it is bets to be safe and allow those few days to cleanse the face extra good. I hope this helps.

It is fine to use tea tree oil before IPL. There is no need to stop or reschedule. In reality, if you are trying to deal with browns, tea tree oil is pretty ineffective, so ask your IPL physician what would be better to use.
