I did some googling and still not sure why this lady's doctor did an internal bra (she got amazing results as you can see) I'm wondering if it would be something that would help me attach better results? I'm wanting to go from an A to D or DD cup *Im the last 3 photos*
Answer: Different indications for an internal bra There are several indications for an internal bra. In general, I find that it's more of a preventative device to reduce future problems. An internal bra is almost always indicated in patients who have had significant weight loss, and who are now desiring breast implants. An internal bra is also a great option in someone with significant stretch marks and poor quality skin. In both of these cases, the internal bra will better support the implant and prevent it from dropping down. Another indication for an internal bra is to reduce the risk of capsular contracture. In some cases, it is done during a revision surgery in someone who has had issues with capsular contracture from previous implants. Other patients may never have had implants, but just want to decrease their future risk as much as possible and will elect to do an internal bra for that reason.

Answer: Mesh Sometimes bioabsorbable mesh is used during surgery to give support to the tissues from a breast augmentation. This is particularly helpful when a patient has thin skin, very little breast tissue, or is considering large implants. Your surgeon will review your situation to determine if it is recommended for you. I've included a video I hope you find helpful.

Answer: Internal bra for breast augmentation Hello, every surgeon will have a unique perspective on internal bras (like sutures or slings). In my experience they are not typically required, as I make a precise pocket that holds the implant where I want it. Occasionally I will reinforce the pocket if the natural tissues don't seem to have enough strength. Every additional procedure done at the time of surgery has possible risks (for example, the additional sutures could cause bleeding, nerve injury or tissue puckering) so these factors need to be weighed against the possible advantages of an internal bra.

Answer: Would an internal bra help me achieve better results? Great question. I perform an internal bra on every single breast procedure because it helps secure the crease and prevent bottoming out over time. It also allows lengthening of the torso to give a longer/leaner look and allows precise positioning of the fold if there are any asymmetries.

Answer: Bellesoma Method The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
