I had a small chip in one of my front teeth and had it bonded 5 days ago. I didn't have any pain before the bonding, but since yesterday (4 days after procedure) the tooth has been hurting. It is sore/kind of a light throbbing pain. I have been taking ibuprofen. I'm wondering if this is normal since I had the procedure less than a week ago and can expect some residual pain for a little while or if it's something that should concern me?

Hi:My first suggestion is to have your orthodontist, move the two front teeth to create uniform space between the 4 front teeth. This way the teeth will not look too big and the gaps are not too large to get bonding done. In the present form porcelain veneer is the best option.Best,Dr. Maddahi
